Pilgrimage

What to say about this place
Home of emotions, bounded so close that willingly you couldn't escape
Maybe something like horribly fascinating
Not at all attractive, if you don't see or smell
If you don't let your senses, to be sober again
The spices of mystic and the silk waiting for a raincheck
Let's take some risks, no need to pay all your debts
Call yourself a traveler, why not set out for pilgrimage

A place with a golden past which addresses you to look
A promising wish towards a wonderful vision
How captivating are miracles?
Let the captive, have the sole right to explain

But yes it's not like that at all, like your imaginations or like your visions
All that I conceived, for which I lured to be strangled and choked
Betrayed ? Deceived ? Revealed ? Tricked ?
Be frank about whatever you want to say
A lot awaits the explorer, one who lost everything
And the one who has everything else to gain

It's heavily polluted isn't it ? with people everywhere
With the lynching ominous crowd, it does seem like a cage?
An enclosure for everything to be contained
A jar of hearts, now do you realize how rusted the repetition stands?
When mixed with the midday heat you won't see them as tutored citizens
A trained man is myth, just like the life you lead
But a mob with eternal aggression around the every corner
On the every face don't you witness yourself, reflected in million ways
You'll find numerous reason to cry
Oh! how awful, that the baby inside finally yelled
Is it a yell to yield the coward sound?
Good to see your melancholy soaked in white
No other color could have sustained the sins of your crime

Why not test your patience
Do we forced you to stay in this tyranny of evil
No one is liberated enough to prosecute your alibis
Let's haunt the innocent, wicked always finds a way to survive

Yet this city will never contradict you
It does give you the freedom to think whatever you want
Thoughts are your property whether dusk or dawn
Pity you, that's something we don't wish to invade
It never restricts anyone from entering its boundaries
An encore of return engagement, that's suddenly not a delegation we gave
Maybe that's why it was one of the only ancient city without walls
Maybe it couldn't afford one, or maybe it's just the easiest way to seduce
Bring out your camera, be ready for the candid replies

It pollutes yet worships the mighty river
It makes mistakes yet it always looks forward
In search of politically creative ways, filthy and profound
This city is an irony for virtue and all its counterparts
Hope the best one wins
Hope, the never ending secret it resides so deep
Pile of them a thick, dusty burden of hope for everything
Maybe in the act, it shows you something it nevermore wanted you to see
Or never to know, she can also be kind and mischief
A motherly heart was a curse, as she was a murderer
An assassin of emptiness, a void in pursuit of forgiveness
Yes you can call it a conundrum
You have to be the best in art of submission
I know you won't be ever able to understand or assume
Yet you can turn it into whatever you want it to be like
Give or take, nothing wrong in giving it a try
The worst you know but best you'd never ever realize
Something's is made to make your existing beautiful
Future is foreseen only in a way you would never be able to perceive
The world varies exactly in the shades you aspire it to be seen
Undoubtedly attraction is just a possession, maybe in beholders way
Or just don't know what an outlooker will say?

Look towards the nectar, pollens will speak
Vouch for the right flower, Don't let the bees sting
Don't let the bees steal the little pilgrimage I seek
